Hello. I stumbled upon your blog by a happy accident. I too have POTS. I was diagnosed in April and have been in treatment since June (I had to have a heart procedure prior to beginning the POTS meds) Midodrine isn't too terrible. It makes my bp a bit more stable and so far, I haven't had any adverse reactions to it. I'm also on the fludrocordisne and a beta blocker. I thought that it was curious that you have POTS and Marfans because the cardiologist I am seeing was worried (at first) that I might have Marfans (it runs in my family) and each subsequent doctor I visit also ask me about it. Hope that all is well with you!
Jill I am really glad you found my blog. I have added some more information today. In particular I think you should have a look at the information about doctors. Perhaps you could try and see one of the Professors but I know there is a long waiting list.
